All items in your inventory that are leveled quest rewards will be upgraded. Just walk up to the alter (located beside the lumber mill in Riverwood) and activate the ledger. Now those unique items you found when you first started the game no longer need to be useless. This mod adds an alter to Riverwood that allows you to upgrade any and all items in your inventory to the version that you would have recieved at your current level. Quest Reward Leveler solves this problem. For me, this was extremely frustrating, especially since other than playing a new game in a different order, or manually spawning items through the console, there is no way to ever get the better version once the quests are complete.
